Friends of Fleuris
Just a short stroll from PKOLS, you’ll find our little farm boutique—a seasonal, self-serve shop made for you: the garden dreamers, fruit lovers, and thoughtful gifters. It’s where we share the best of the orchard, and nature sets the pace.
We created this space so you could experience a little more of Fleuris—up close. While floral design is still our main gig (which you can book online), the boutique is our way of sharing the orchard’s abundance with you in a more spontaneous way.
What you’ll find here shifts with the season and the rhythm of the land. One week it might be orchard-fresh fruit, homemade preserves, and small-batch confections. Another week: armfuls of tulips, or dahlias (our signature bouquets and arrangements are still available by pre-order only), or a beautifully crafted gift from a talented artisan we admire and welcomed to showcase their creations.
This is our very first season opening the boutique to the public, so we’re easing in with pop-ups around flower-filled holidays in spring and winter, and regular weekly hours on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm, with a few exceptions, starting once the orchard really gets going—usually by late June through to Thanksgiving.
Everything here is grown, made, or chosen with care. Always seasonal. Always small-scale. Always with you in mind.
We want your visit to feel like a little hidden discovery.
If you’re walking along Glendenning Road and spot our big OPEN sign, that’s your cue to wander in. Even if the doors are closed — don’t be shy! We might keep them that way to deter wasps, deer, the occasional bold raccoon… and yes, even the odd curious human with sticky fingers.
If you’re a Friend of Fleuris and have been invited to visit on a different day, you’ll find all the details on how to get in just below, under How It Works.
This tiny boutique runs on orchard time.
In the spring, we pop up around bloom-worthy holidays like Easter and Mother’s Day — and why not Father’s Day, too? Come winter, we occasionally open for a weekend or two with seasonal treats and beautifully made gifts.
But the real season begins in late June, when the orchard starts getting generous. That’s when we open more regularly — usually weekly — all the way through to Thanksgiving. What you’ll find inside depends on what’s ripe, whether you’re picking up one of our unique floral subscriptions to bring home, or discovering whatever lovely thing we — or some of our favourite artisans — have dreamed up for you.
From pre-order pickups and fresh fruit to thoughtfully chosen notebooks, ribbons, and handmade goods, everything is sustainably grown or crafted with care. The boutique is our way of sharing beauty in many forms.
Because we grow, harvest, and curate everything ourselves, our hours may shift with the weather, the season, or simply how quickly things sell out. The most up-to-date info will always be right here at the top of this page — or even better, join our email list to stay in the loop.
Thanks for being part of this small — not so slow, but considered slow — beautifully seasonal way of life.
We’ve designed the hexagonal boutique to feel simple and special — like a little hidden gem made just for you.
While we’re always just a stone’s throw away (sometimes quite literally, tucked into the flower beds nearby), we offer one regular opening day each week — usually Saturdays — when we’re present in and around the boutique to welcome passersby and spur-of-the-moment visitors. On those days, you’ll often find a fresh arrangement or other floral creation made just for your enjoyment.
On Wednesdays — and Sundays by appointment — the boutique quietly opens its doors for Friends of Fleuris — our flower subscribers, regulars, and people we know and trust. These are self-serve days, but we’re never far. If the doors are locked, it’s likely because we’re tending the garden or working in the design studio. Just press the video doorbell — give us a moment, and we’ll either come meet you or greet you through the speaker and unlock the door remotely. It’s easy, a little futuristic, and surprisingly fun.
Inside, checkout is a breeze: follow the signs, choose your treasures, then tap, pay, and head off with something beautiful — or downright scrumptious — in hand.
This self-serve setup lets us share the good stuff even when our arms are full of blooms, fruit, or the occasional rogue hose. It runs on trust, mutual respect, and a shared appreciation for the care poured into every item — with a little help from 24/7 security cameras to keep things safe and sound.
Driving in? You’re welcome to park to the right of the boutique. Please keep the main driveway clear, and avoid parking on the street — it’s narrow and also serves as emergency access to Mount Doug Park (hence the gazillion “No Stopping” signs).
Thank you for being the kind of person who makes a space like this possible.
We can’t wait to share it with you.
